Savio's global vendor base is a diverse mix of independent freelancers, niche subject matter experts, and 'career contractors', but also includes specialist micro agencies and full-service agencies offering bandwidth in their capacity to support the research talent needs of a similarly broad range of buyers.

While Savio vendor profiles don't distinguish vendor type in their format, the skills, technologies, and areas of expertise listed should accurately reflect the scope of services they're able to deliver to a high standard and the profile content should indicate their capacity.

This makes it easier and quicker for buyers to identify the right vendors while influencing the type of projects vendors are invited to submit proposals for.

Universal Minimum Requirements

For consistency in professional standards and feasibility of worldwide vendor verification, Savio has three universal minimum requirements for vendor approval.

Before starting the vendor expert application, does your business meet these criteria?

  • My/Our business is fully registered and licenced in the country where I/we do business from, and I/we can provide evidence of this on request
  • My/Our business has valid professional indemnity or business insurance cover for a minimum of $1m (or equivalent in your local currency) and I/we can provide a copy of the policy for periodic verification as required
  • My/Our business has a business bank account enabled to receive payments in USD, EUR or GBP

Self Employed Individuals

As a B2B research talent marketplace, Savio is contractually bound to transact solely with formally registered businesses. As Self-Employment is an individual tax status and not a legally recognised business entity, prospective vendors not currently registered as a business may join Savio under an Umbrella Limited Company.

Savio encourages Self-Employed individuals to seek independent professional advice on the differences and definitions of business/company types in the country they operate from before taking any action on their trading status.
